Choosing a Mortgage Broker

	Ask your family and friends for recommendations.
	Check your selected broker’s industry experience, certifications and qualifications.
	Check that your broker has personal indemnity insurance.
	Check that your selected broker has access to a wide range of lenders.
	Ask how your broker will be paid. Do they receive a commission from lenders or do you pay a fee?
	Check what criteria your broker uses to make a decision on which lender to approach.
	Ensure you have all your personal and current loan and visa card documents with you when you meet the broker. Ask plenty of questions.
	Use your gut feelings to ensure you are happy with your choice of broker.
