3 - 4 houses in light up every year and it is well worth a visit.
Bayswater North - We did a trip around the Canterbury gardens estate in Bayswater North and found many wonderful light displays. I would recommend checking out Jennifer Crescent.

Beaconsfield - Brookvale Close Vic, 75% of street set up with terrific light and animated displays.
Beaconsfield - 245 soldiers Rd
Beaconsfield - Sunhill Crt and Scenic Drive has a couple of streets where there are some good christmas light displays.
Bentleigh - 148 Tucker Road has a sleeping Santa sitting in front of the ‘how many sleeps to Christmas’ sign which local children find entertaining. Santa wakes up five sleeps before Christmas day. The front of the house and garden are decorated in cartoon animals, Santa going down the chimney on the roof and a large Santa being chased up a tree by two animals pulling his trousers down. The garden is festooned in light and very pretty to look at.
Bentleigh East - 84 Parkmore Rd
This house has a unique display featuring a new Disney theme each year. The house displays hundreds of lights, and in past years has held a 15min Light and Sound Show, which is based on the theme of the year. It is a very popular house, with smoke, bubble machine, pond and mini waterfall, and many other effects. It attracts hundreds of visitors each year.
Berwick-Chirnside road - there are some nice lights and windows displayed and then travel along bersyde road to see a lovely display worth the look if travelling around berwick, beaconsfield kids will love them
Berwick - 2 Angelique street the chase estate in Berwick come see mixture of rope lights, 8 foot blow up Santa, animated rope lights as well as multicolored fairy lights, worth a look, display growing rapidly with new additions added every week lights on every night from dec 1st till Jan 1st Sunday to Monday till 10.30, Friday and Saturday till 1 am, all night xmas eve and new years eve from 8.30pm till dawn, all kids will receive a lolly/candy cane

Blackburn South - 86 Orchard Grove, We have lights that we have purchased from the USA, and many that have been hand made-“Joy to the World” and “Peace on Earth”
Our nativity scene was hand made and hand painted by my father in law, and the angel was drawn by our 6 year old daughter, and made by my father in law.

Boronia - Rawdon Court
One particular house in Rawdon Court, Boronia has a terrific display including a waving Santa and a window display.
Boronia -There is a brilliant display every year in Sandpiper court. We travel across every year to see it. Every house is decorated.
Box Hill-275 Middleborough Rd
Follow The Star – a free indoor nativity Christmas light display. Open every night from 11th – 19th December 2009, 8pm to 10.30pm. For more details go to www.rci.org.au .

Two houses side by side with some lovely lights. Leads into Clydesdale Street and close to Merton Street too.
Box Hill North - 11 Eram Road
An amazing display of xmas lights over 12000. From Sat 28th November. Pack the car and bring the kids to see amazing display starting at 8pm to 11pm also free candy canes will be given out.
Braybrook - 34 Hargreaves Crescent (2009)
See santa on the garage roof, front yard filled with reindeers that move their heads and lots of lights all over the house and in the windows. free candy and free gifts for kids too. Is a must see house for Christmas lights!! Highly recommended.
Everynight after 8.30pm, light goes off 11pm.
Brunswick - 17 Fraser Street - It gets bigger and bigger each year. Very interactive for the children.
All children are welcome inside on one condition that they wear one of a variety of Christmas hats that they have to select from. Same applies to parents who wish to enter!!! It makes it fun for the children seeing their parents wear a hat too. All kids also receive a candy cane sweet.

Burwood- Burwood Highway
Always popular selections are two magnificent houses on Burwood Highway, Burwood between Station St and Blackburn Road. One of them goes all out to involve families and children in the Christmas spirit with Santa himself appearing on selected nights.
Burwood East- Lorraine Drive Burwood East
Not far from the display in Burwood Hwy (near Blackburn Road), is a fantastic display of lights that includes Santa's house and his elves. Candy canes lead you up to Santa's house where you can see what Santa and his team actually make.

A wonderful light display on our house this year and its really worth a look. Every area is covered with all sorts of light There is also two in the ajoining street Oakam Ave .

Brunswick- There are 2 houses on Moreland Road Brunswick, between Syndey Road and Melville Road.

Elegant Christmas decorations which just consist of fairy lights, very pretty without being overdone.
