How do you find your niche?
If you want to be successful and enjoy being an affiliate marketer you really need to pick a niche that you are interested in.
You are the only one that will know what your niche will be. Do some brainstorming and write down all the areas you think you might be interested in developing into a website based business. You will then need to work out the emotional needs of people in that niche. What are the common problems and possible solutions? Is there an audience - what are they looking for?
Another thing to think about is how you are going to make money - do you want to sell other peoples products or can you make your own.

Make a Product to Sell
Making your own product to sell online as part of your whole affiliate marketing business plan is an important and rewarding project to embark upon. A great way to start is an ebook. Once you have mastered writing an ebook you can move onto writing a book, and then an audio version of the same book.
Ideally you want to be able to write it yourself on a topic that you enjoy and have the expertise. Initially jot down some commonly asked questions that people want answers to. Get friends to read it and give you feedback and then put it out there in the marketplace.
The ideal place to sell your first e-book is Clickbank. This enables maximum exposure and many affiliates selling your ebook. Alternatively if you already have a website that has high traffic you may want to add a pay pal button and see how that goes.

Use the FREE research tool Google AdWords Keyword Tool, type in the word that represents your interest, along with the word "how" (for example: "how swimming " or "how collecting ").

• Analyse your results - move forward with things that work and concentrate on those areas.
