Ideas for Affiliates to Send Traffic to Merchant sites
Content Sites
These are websites created with lots of useful unique content that visitors will want to come back to again and again. The unique content is picked up over time in google search results - visitors stumble across the website, sign up for free reports or to be on a mailing list and/or then click on carefully placed adds. Mailing lists are great as you can send promotions and updates to potential customers in the future - even if they dont buy on the day they may in the future.
Direct Linking
This is where you put an affiliate link on your website or in an email, a visitor clicks on it and is sent directly to the Merchants website. By the use of tracking ID in your affiliate link you will then earn commission if a purchase is made.
Landing Pages
Landing pages are long focused sales pages put together to make the visitor more likely to buy something. Typically the page is very very long with lots of benefits and reasons why its the best product on the planet. A landing page has minimal distractions or links off the page - usually there is only one way out and that is to a Pay Pal button to purchase the product! |
